When I was in Canada earlier in the year I learned of the existence of Nanaimo Bars. I found that to be as delicious as I had imagined, and was determined to make some when I got back home. I duly made some and in doing so learned just how bad these things were. So at risk of damaging other people's health I irresponsibly present to you the Nanaimo Bar recipe I adapted for New Zealand ingredients.
